Cartalax
Cartalax is a short bioregulatory peptide complex derived from cartilage tissue and investigated in laboratory and preclinical research for its role in connective tissue signaling and extracellular matrix (ECM) regulation. Classified among tissue-specific peptide bioregulators, Cartalax is studied for its influence on chondrocyte and fibroblast-associated pathways central to matrix turnover, collagen synthesis, and connective tissue integrity. Because fibroblasts coordinate ECM remodeling across cartilage, skin, vasculature, and other structural tissues, Cartalax is utilized as a research tool to examine peptide-mediated modulation of proliferation dynamics, apoptosis balance, and cellular maintenance signaling under controlled experimental conditions.
In vitro systems and structured experimental investigations evaluate endpoints including proliferation markers such as Ki-67, apoptosis-related signaling proteins including p53-associated pathways, collagen type II expression, proteoglycan synthesis parameters, cytokine expression profiles, and matrix-remodeling enzyme activity.
