KPV

KPV (Lys-Pro-Val) is a synthetic tripeptide corresponding to the C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) and investigated in laboratory research for its regulatory activity within inflammatory signaling pathways. In experimental systems, KPV is studied for its interaction with melanocortin receptor-associated mechanisms and modulation of NF-κB-dependent transcriptional activity. Unlike the full-length parent peptide, this minimal sequence is utilized to examine targeted immune-regulatory signaling under controlled conditions.
